This is a modern take on an art décor stylized representation of a peacock-like bird. The image plays strongly on spirals and uses this form to produce every shape within the drawing. The logo below the image also continues this theme to bring coherence to the two elements. This is all placed on a background that comprises a sunburst gradient, emanating from a light to a dark brown. An optical illusion leads the mind to believe there are colors in the spirals of the plumage but this is not so – the entire image comprises shades of brown, extending to cream only. The image combines the notion of hanging grapes, grapevines with that of an unusual bird and creating a solid visual brand concept for a wine-related business. The second derived image is a colored image and demonstrates the use of color as a focal point, rather than a logo as in the first work.
