This design was created for an environmental group and contains a number of elements. The green sunburst gradient forms a balanced backdrop as the detail increases as you get toward the center. The idea is to draw the eye into the middle of the image where some detailed nature-related elements adorn the text message which is delivered in a simple lower case. The butterflies, ladybugs and flowers are used sparingly to create glints of color that do not detract the eye from the message. The subject matter is related to water so the central area has been textured to look like a view looking down on a real pond – to augment the theme of water, droplets can be seen formed on the inner edge of the surrounding background. The gerneral theme was eventually used as a backdrop for many items including designer shopping bags.
